Groups run Monday to Friday on set pickup routes, so every new dog starts with a two-week introductory period ($600, 10 visits): time to settle in with the pack and for us to make sure the ranch is the right fit. Pick-up and drop-off included.

Top Dog SF offers the unique and safe option of taking your pup to our very own private doggie ranch nestled in the hills of Montara, CA. Top Doggers get to socialize and play with their carefully selected and screened dog buddies on private land contained by high-quality fencing. Your dog can be off-leash with their best friends for group dog walks and running free.

With our private doggie ranch, you get the luxury of knowing your dog is safe and secure while having the time of their lives. Our activities-oriented doggie ranch is the perfect place for city pups to get the exercise, outdoor socialization and mental stimulation they need.

What is an Adventure Outing?

An Adventure Outing is a full-day group dog outing to our private ranch in Montara, CA. Your dog gets to run off-leash with carefully matched buddies in a safe, fenced environment with professional supervision. Pick-up and drop-off in San Francisco are included.

How do you match dogs into groups?

We carefully screen every dog and match groups by size, energy level, and temperament. Small and large dogs have separate play areas, and we keep group sizes manageable so every pup gets the attention they deserve.

Is my dog safe at the ranch?

Absolutely. Our ranch is fully fenced with high-quality fencing, has separate play areas, and is staffed by professionally certified dog handlers trained in canine first aid, CPR, and body language. We also have a shelter for weather protection.

What areas do you pick up and drop off from?

We provide complimentary pick-up and drop-off within San Francisco. We service most neighborhoods across the city. See our service area page for specific coverage.

Can I try it before committing to a membership?

Yes, every dog starts with our two-week introductory period so your dog can experience the ranch before you commit. This also gives us a chance to assess your dog's compatibility with our group dynamics.
