What areas do you service?

We pick up and drop off across 38+ San Francisco neighborhoods. For the full list, please visit our service area page.

How long are the adventure walks?
Our Adventure Outings include pick up and drop off of your pup from your home or work in SF. Your dog will be out of the house for 4.5 to 5 hours per day.
How many dogs are in each group?
Group size averages about 12 dogs per group with one driver and an additional Ranch Assistant.
Do you offer pick-up and drop-off?
Yes, shuttle service is included in our service.
How often do the walks take place?
We offer regular walking services Monday through Friday, and we are closed on national holidays. Weekend walks are available upon request, depending on availability. If you need weekend walks, please contact us in advance to make arrangements.
What are the requirements for my dog to join?
Your dog must be fully vaccinated and be dog social. We require a two week introduction for new dogs to attend 5x a week for two weeks to assess them for group outings.
Does my dog need to be off-leash trained?
No, your dog does not need any off-leash training as our ranch is fully fenced in. We also work on basic training on our walks like recall, polite play with other dogs, and impulse control.
What happens if my dog doesn't get along with other dogs?
If this is the case, we would recommend additional one on one training.
Are the dogs supervised at all times?
Yes, the dogs are supervised every moment of their outing by our certified dog walkers and Pet First Aid Certified team.
How much do off-leash adventure walks cost?
Our off-leash adventure walks are available through a discounted monthly subscription plan with monthly packages as low as $42 a day, and pick-up and drop-off in San Francisco are included: 3x per week: $680/month, 4x per week: $775/month, 5x per week: $880/month. Monthly discounted packages are available Monday through Friday and do not include major holidays. New clients start with a 2-week introductory period for $600.
What counts as a "major holiday" and where can I see the excluded dates?

Major holidays are the U.S. federal holidays we observe each year: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (and the day after), and Christmas & New Year Break (typically Dec 23 to Jan 1). Adventure Outings are not provided on these dates and they are not counted toward monthly subscription packages. The full list of closure dates is in the “Are you closed on holidays?” question under For clients below, and on our Adventure Outings page.

Do you offer package deals or discounts for multiple walks?
Yes, we offer discounted monthly subscription rates that save an average of 25% per month, every month from the per day outing rate throughout the year at 3x, 4x and 5x per week.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
We require changes or cancelations to your pup's outing schedule 15 days before the start of the next month. If you are not going to need the full month of walks and you provide us sufficient notice we will bill you at the per day outing rate if this is cheaper than the regular discounted walk memberships. Our program works like a gym membership or child's daycare where we save your dog's spot in our small sized groups as well as in our vans for safe transport of all of our pups. If your dog is injured or sick we allow for credits to the following month's outings. If you need to suspend service and would like us to save your dog's spot in our pack we require a $250 deposit for each month and this amount will be applied as a credit to your next month's invoice.
Do you offer trial walks before committing?
Every dog must go through a 2 week assessment period to ensure group compatibility.
What if my dog has never been off-leash before?
That's ok. Our ranch space is safe and secured with fencing so your pup is free to run with friends all day long.
Do you provide training as part of the adventure walks?
We do not offer formal training as part of our adventure outings. However, we do reinforce basic training, good manners, and recall during the outings to help maintain consistency in your dog's behavior. Our focus is on providing a fun and structured off-leash experience while encouraging positive habits for your dog. We do offer private one on one training if you are interested in scheduling this please email us to get started.
Can you accommodate special needs dogs (reactive, shy, senior dogs)?
We can accommodate senior dogs. For reactive or shy dogs, we recommend private training first.
What happens during bad weather?
We offer walks rain or shine.
What if my dog gets injured or lost during a walk?
Our walkers are Pet First Aid certified and we have First Aid Kits on site in case your dog is injured during the outing.
Are you bonded and insured?
Yes we are, and licensed too. All of our walkers are background checked, CPR and Pet First Aid Trained and are permitted and certified Dog Walkers.
What is a doggie ranch?
We have our own private enclosed dog park for just our Top Dog pups. Located right below the city in Montara, we head down to our grassy meadow space each day where we romp, socialize, smell, play, chase, and fetch galore. Doggie Ranch is a perfect spot for us to allow your dog the freedom and safety to be off leash with other carefully chosen dog friends in a controlled safe environment.
